Repeated Offenders
« on: October 11, 2011, 08:16:14 am »
I feel if the prisons were like the Third World Countries, the people in the United States would'nt have repeat offenders.
No responsibilities,no values,three meals a day,no club membership,free cable etc,etc...

With the economy so bad, if an individual is out of work, no money or insurance, they can do a crime, and then they have a place to stay, free medical and 3 meals a day.  Of course the people that do have a job and were the victims of the crime are paying for it.  Something's wrong with this picture.

Yes jail is way too easy.  But then there will be people crying and protesting that they are getting cruel and unusual punishment if they get anything less  ::).  Heck I can't afford cable so I cancelled it but they watch it for free paid for by my tax dollars.

Time does not need to be spent in a prison wall to know where your tx dollars are spent. The question (free) if you had read throughly, does not
imply towards oneself, but makes a statement.I've never spent a day in the walls, but mentored those who have.I'm sorry fo your stay in  them.
