Wow.Anyone else feel the earthquake that hit 8-23-2010! Yesterday, We in Calvert County, Maryland had things falling off walls and everything!

I live in Anderson,SC and we felt the tremble here.My husband was at the computer and felt his chair shake.My sister lives in Greenwood and she said her car shook.Just glad no one got hurt.

I didn't even know it happened. I was out grocery shopping when my husband called to say they were sending everyone home because they had an earthquake. He's about 45 miles away at work and I didn't feel a thing. Then I had relatives from as far north as Massachusetts calling me to see if I was OK, because they had felt it there. I was really surprised - I didn't know it was that big.

No quake tremors for me, thankfully. Florida has it bad enough with all the hurricanes we get, don't need to add earthquakes to the list.

I lived in Virginia for 20 years and never experienced an earthquake.  So it was crazy when I heard the news.  Glad for the most part people were ok.  Didn't see that coming!

I'm in Mass just south of boston . I was home and didn't feel it but my neighbor 2 floors above me and on the top floor of the building did. Lots of noise and the windows were shaking! Not a comforting feeling. :wave: :peace:
