how does everyone on feel about drug addicts

Only speaking for myself, I think it all depends on how badly one may have impacted your life. In my case I am still putting pieces of my life back together because of one. Not to mention robbing me and my home blind (ANYTHING that was not nailed down). So therefore I have nothing nice or sympathetic to say and shall keep my comments to myself.

I have a close relative that is an addict. It has been very difficult maintaining the relationship because of the addiction itself and what she is willing to do and give up for that addiction. Its sad.

I think everyone has their faults. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be loved any less, but you should try to help them as much as you can. Try to help them get clean, especially.
