who should have worse sentencing in murder mastermind or hittman?

In a case of a planned murder should the person who hired the hitman to kill someone have worse sentencing or the actual hitman? What do you guys think? The planner or the executer?

i think any one of them should have them,as long as it is 27 to life

yes i dont know what i think because i am like the hitman is the one who actually pulled the trigger or whatever so they should be punished harder but then i think well if it was not for the mastermind who planned and hired the hitman then the person would still be alive but i think the one that actually did the murder should get worse punishement because they are actually the one who took the life

I think they should be punished equally.

I think that they should both have equal sentencing! The hitman of course because he/she actually killed the person and the planner for the hiring of the hitman and the planning of the murder. I don't think that the planner should be let off easy just because he/she didn't have the guts to actually carry out the plan themselves.....they should be punished as if they actually committed the crime because the intent is there and they had an massive part in it. The hitman would not have killed that person without the planner.

The mastermind should get the worst sentencing. The hitman would not of pulled the trigger if he wasn't hired to.
