Anyone here into weightlifting?

I am thinking about investing in a set of powerblocks.  They seem like a really good adjustable dumbbell set to me.  Has anyone here ever used powerblocks?  Are they worth the big price?  The reviews on amazon are great but I would like additional opinions.

Powerblocks are great.  I had a pair until a couple months ago.  I got mine from a friend as a trade about 8 years ago and they have always worked great.  They are made in the U.S.A which is amazing and they are built to last.  My friend said they cost about 300 bucks back in the day, but I sold mine for 100 bucks(not the newest model of Powerblock anymore).   I go to the gym now or rather I will again when my surgery is healed and didn't use them as much as I used to.  My wife could even use them when she put them on any of the lower weight settings.  If I had someone to keep me motivated to lift at home then I would have kept them.
