Cashing Out
« on: July 21, 2011, 09:57:21 am »
I have read many suggest cashing out once you reach the magic number of $25.00. What is the particular reason for that?   Also is there a particular date of the month to do it? So as not to carry over until the next month?
Looking forward to a reply.

Earnings expire in six months.  I cash out as soon as I can because I want my money as soon as I can and I don't want to let my money sit and ride because you never know when a site can go poof and disappear with your money.  I love FC not talking bad about it but I have seen plenty of sites here one day and gone the next.  Yes FC has been around for a few years and lets hope it's around for a long time but nothing is guaranteed, hackers happen, something might happen to the owner, you never know.  This is why I cash out as soon as I am eligible.  I don't like leaving my money on the table.

I cash out the end of the month because you get paid the around the 20th of the following month.  If I cashed out the beginning or middle of the month I have to wait longer to get my money so this is why I and a lot of people cash out at the end.

If you do that, you can start accumulating cash and reach the $25 minimum payout again sooner rather than later.

You can cash out anytime up the last day of the current month. For example, if you cash out January 1st, January 31st, or any of the days between those dates, you will receive your payment around February 20th.

$25 is just the minimum you need to cash out, so most people do it then so that you can get your money and start earning more faster. As for the date, just know whatever day you do it, you must wait until the 20th of the next month to get your pay. So, you'll get it faster if you cash out towards the end of the month.

Another thing I've read is people cash out often to receive the $1 bonus for posting their payment

Thank you for your response and to everyone else. It really helps.

So, one has to cash out at least once every six months, right?

Yes, earnings start to expire at 180 days. Not all of them at once, it goes by the date earned so it is anything you have over the 180 days. FC will list, in red, the status of ones that are getting close to expiring and they will show up under your account in the list Offers credited to your account. :)

I do so I can start immediately on my next 25. because you have to get the 25 to cash out each time, you can put that money to the next check and keep going like that, you will not have to struggle as much and you will get paid more often.

I have a question about cashing out. I cashed out around 7/20/11 & waiting on my payment to come 8/20/11. Currently it's set up as direct deposit. If I change that to getting a mailed check during the "pending cashout" will it change and mail me a check or is it whatever the option was at the time I cashed out?

If you would rather receive a check, then you are still able to change over to that. I know because I did it with my first cashout. I had set it up as Direct Deposit, then decided I wanted the check mailed instead. Just go to your account and Verification to change it. :)
