You need to change your current bank account to checking to receive a check? If you're saying you have a savings account, you can deposit checks into it. Unless it's an issue with a particular bank, I don't see the need to change your savings to a checking just to receive a check.

If you mean you have to change your account here to checking, well, that would be direct deposit and you wouldn't receive a check for that.

You may need to go to your Account Information and look it over, you should be able to find the answer you are looking for.
