Losing a loved one.....

Just came home.  My 54yr old brother passed away after a battle with cancer.  It's really a mixed bag of emotions.  I am glad he is at peace and has no more suffering of pain.  However, I hate to see him go.  I guess I just want to tell everyone, enjoy the time you have.  You will not regret spending time with them......

My brother lost his wife to cancer 2 years ago. He is amazing! ....raising the children (3)...the oldest in college, the youngest 11.
He didn't change the phone message with her voice on it. His attitude is that she is helping them from the spirit world now; she has never left them. We all have to take our place when the time comes. Our life here is preparation for that eternal life.

My husband just found out that he has cancer.

I lost my mom almost 6 years ago from ovarian cancer. I miss her more everyday. I can understand being at peace because they are no longer suffering. About a month before she died, I would come home and cry because I hated to see her suffer, she was bed ridden and wouldn't eat... just not my mama.. My prayers went from God to heal her to please take her out of her suffering.. my prayers reversed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you deal with this great loss.

Im sorry for your loss  its a feeling thats undescibeable i have lost 3 member of my family in the last few years  and its really hard to understand why but only god has that answer
