Do you believe that Osama Bin Laden is really dead?

I'm not even going to address whether or not he existed except to say that in my opinion to say that the government made him up would be like saying that we didn't walk on the moon. 

I do think that he is dead. There is not much to gain and very much to lose if they were to lie about this and then have it come out later that he was still alive. And I'm sure that they made damned sure that it was him so that they would avoid any backlash from the claim. If this was an election year maybe I would be a bit more skeptical but I really do think that in this scenerio the risks far outweigh the benefits if they did lie. In the short run you may have a surge of young people enlisting because they have caught the excitement BUT how many soldiers are going to think twice about reenlisting if it is uncovered that the government lied about something like that....it would put our troops in worse shape than they are right now.

i did until they said they werent gonna release photos then it made me kind of wonder if he really was dead or not?

As far as his death goes, I don't know what I feel about it or that I honestly believe everything went down exactly as stated. To be honest, I don't generally believe anything the government tells us. They have all lied, manipulated, and distorted many things over the years. I'll listen, but not necessarily believe.

The guy is dead. Wether that makes a difference in how strong his group is i think not. Someone will take his place and that's that. Yeah i'm sure it brought closure to a lot of people but it doesn't mean his death stops terrorism or anything.
