Are people thinking about the costs, side effects, or weaknesses to the powers they want? Even the powerful Superman has weaknesses, and it's not just to Kryptonite.

For example:

Having super speed means having a super fast metabolism. The more you use your power, the hungrier you get.

If I had a super power I would have to pick to be invisible. I could walk around and people not know I was there.

Won't happen. The metabolism will speed up only when a person would be using their super speed powers, and they will burn through the energy gained from the foods they ate.


Clothes will be a nuisance to the powers of invisibility and shape shifting.
- Normal clothes will not turn invisible with the wearer.
- For shape shifting powers, turn into something larger and you will tear your clothes. Transform into something small, and your clothes will fall off. Werewolves are shape shifters.
