Kim Commando listed some reputable  companies to work from home awhile back. There are so many scams out there so be careful. I don't have the link to her site but you probably can find it by searching and then put in  'work from home' on her search.

Alpine Access is a legit site. My boyfriends mother had a job offer from them a couple of years ago and they were paying $9.50 or something like that, but I don't think they have benefits. It's customer service type of work. She said that they want you to have a quiet work area free from all background noise.

There are some freelance sites out there that have job postings for particular skills. I've done some extra work with some of those...writing, data entry, etc.

I'm found that most online jobs require fees that I'm not willing to pay.

if you are not shy, like getting on web cam, like having fun, have an out going personality and etc... then become a web cam performer. You can easily make a LOT of money, set your own hours, and etc... If you want more info let me know, I can tell you a few honest and GOOD sites. I used to have a few of them on my web site as affiliates. Plus I am one myself, the site I belong to has been around a long time, and is in the top 3 as far as "the best" sites for performers. They treat you well, and always pay on time. I can easily make $50-$100 or MORE an hour depending on what I charge per minute. Yesterday alone I made over $60 and I was only logged on for I think less than 3 hours. Anyway like I said if you want more info, or if anyone else wants more info just email me at IamWhoIam1974@hotmail.com
