diamonds set in white gold have more sparkle
I have a garnet ring in yellow gold that I love but i preferred my weding ring to be in yellow gold so my husband had to have my engagement ring changed once he learned that

I prefer white gold.  My wedding ring and diamond studs are white gold.  My watch has both so it goes with anything.
