what is love?

I am all grown and I still don't know what love is. I think that people should get more open about this. Start talking about their experiences to help others through their journey

Well I think there are two ways to fall in love, one is to spend time with someone and grow attached and the other is just well, this sounds corny but love at first sight. I know it exhists because I fell in love at first sight at the age of 12, I turned my head and immediatly got locked into eye contact with this girl, normally I would look away as a kid because eye contact intimidated me but I couldn't, even though I was in a public place my ears went deaf and I couldn't hear a thing, it was like my entire being was focused on this girl's eyes, it went on for a bit as we walked across the room staring at each other, then suddenly my sense of hearing came rushing back and I had a burning infatuation with the girl like nothing I had ever felt.

It's corny, it's cliche, but it's how I remember it. I sadly lost contact with the girl, maybe we will meet again one day, my advice is that if you fall in love then don't be timid or slow, take it fast and as far as you can go.

I think most of the time people love each other because they find in one another a way to fill the gaps in their lives.

for me, love was the feeling that hit me when i found someone that made me feel complete. we have similar interests, can carry on a conversation about anything, and need nothing more than the company of each other. i realized i was in love when i could not stand to be away from him and the way my heartbeat would speed up when i saw him. once i accepted that i was in love with him, i allowed myself to feel comforted, supprted and loved by him and it has been the best 6 years of my life

I don't know what love is because my relationships usually lead to a dead end road. My relationships usually last about 3 months and the woman finds another guy. It seems to happen over and over again for me. So, I decided to be single and maybe I will be lucky to find a good woman some day.

It is only true love when you are willing to sacrifice ANYTHING for your loved one. If not, then it is not true love.

I can say that I found my true love my soul mate.  Makes me complete.  Love is unconditional no matter what.  I would do anything for him and he for me.  We have a 31 year difference in our age but that doesn't change anything. We have been married for 15-1/2 years now. We have never had a fight. When you find love it hits you like a train.  You just know.  The feeling is so complete of being everything you were in search of.   To me love is giving and taking and being willing to listen, talk, and be able to give even if not getting something in return.  Looking past one's on self and to think of others as well.
