My exercise of choice is kayaking and walking but during the winter I've been using my WII, walking with Leslie Sansone and doing the Slim in 6 workout.  Not often enough though!

I was going to say other than walking most any where I go, typing. lol  I do chase grandkids and house work also.  You probably wouldn't think that to be excercise but I go up and down a flight of stairs at least twice a day caring laundry, vaccuum, and washing walls windows and the bathroom (tub and toilet) mostly an upper body work out but it does raise the heart beat.  All that is usually a slow day.

I used to ballroom dance in college, just out of college - and still practice routines solo in case I decide to get back into it again (pro-am probably).  A few years back I decided to take up figure skating as I always wanted to learn, and didn't require a partner.

As a result of that, I go to work out at a gym with a personal trainer twice a week, and have another trainer come to my house once a week - mostly for strength training and muscle balance/endurance - to help condition me for skating.

On "off" training days, I have an arsenal of TaeBo and Pilates videos, and create my own circuit routines on my treadmill, exercise bike and strength bands/*bleep*/etc.  I always try to stretch 15-30 minutes on days I work out to keep limber.

In the summers, I love going on long hikes in county and state parks too.

One of the best exercised you can do is yoga. Great workout

It really depends on what my goal is.  At the moment I want to loose a little bit of adipose tissue (fat) so I am doing cardio on the treadmill as well as resistance exercises.  It is EXTREMELY important for anyone that wants to loose fat and not muscle to continue using a resistance training program will increasing cardiovascular activity.  And remember, don't pay attention to the rampant myths out their like that want to make you believe this or that supplement will give that six pack or tighten up your gluets.  The only way to loose healthy weight is to eat less Calories than you consume with a deficit no greater that -1000 kcals per day.  Preferrably it should be about 500 kcals.  This is ideal because it puts the body in less of a "crisis mood" so it is less likely to breakdown or "catabolize" muscle tissue to burn its protein for energy.  Remember: 1) Check with your doctor before exercising or going on to a nutritional diet. 2) Continue to resistance train. 3) Consume some moderately less Kclas then you burn.

I really enjoy Zumba. I take 5 classes a week. My daughter and I go together when her school scheduele permits, it's really cool to be able to share something so healthy and fun with her.

 :wave: I like to walk and ride a stationary bike. I have limited movement in my legs so I am not able to do squats and that type of exercise. I also do situps but my favorite type of exercise is just to walk. It helps with my legs and my little feller(MR. Bo) likes it cause he can chase after all the wild-life.

i just started doing sit-ups and rasied mys arms up  above my head and walking in place and rider the exercise bike i stayed have to get use to it.

I use the eliptical most days and sometimes cardiac boxing on the wii ... I walk when it is nice outside

I like to walk. It is easy to do and can be done anywhere.  It is gentle and relaxing.
