The only reason tomorrow will be specail for me is being able to spend time with my son since it is his birthday, we always have 6 more weeks of winter anyway!

I didn't even realize tomorrow is Groundhog day. We will have 6 more weeks of winter no matter what. We are having an ice storm right now.

Nope, don't care-never have.  We have about 2'-3' of snow here with thunder and lightning.  Nope.  Nor does the  ground hog.  LOL.

It's overcast today.  No shadows.  We had a little snow last night (New Jersey) that turned to sleet and freezing rain.  Very dangerous to go out, so I'm in on my PC surfing the net.  This storm has covered a large portion of the US.

What's it like where you are?  And how are you coping with getting around with the snow and ice?

GH day is giving a lot of cold weather and snow across the US. it is cold here in Texas too! We got 21 this morning. For us, that is COLD! I am hoping things in Egypt resolve for the people and Mubarak steps down peacefully.

I totally forgot about groundhog day. I guess it doesn't really matter much anyhow; it's going to be whatever the Good Lord sees fit anyway. It has rained for the last 2 days,it is now clearing up and I see sunshine today! The weatherman is saying that we are in for some more cold and rain later on this week; maybe alittle snow. I hope that the snow bypasses us ! We just are not equipped to handle snow in this state. Heck!, alot of the people here have problems driving when the ground is dry!!!!!
