I live in Maine and we got about 10 inches me area. Cold and windy though too.

I heard about that in the news too.  This is probably one of the coldest winters ever.

Something like this happened last year or late '09 iirc.  Either 49 or all 50 states had snow on the ground, and it was the first time something like that had happened in decades...

    I live in Colorado. We are suppose to have a heat wave tomorrow, 53* wow.  The mounds of snow here will not smelt till May!! lol..

     Alaska, where I live, also has snow...lots of snow! I think only Hawaii, Florida and Guam do not have snow.

Is it me or does anyone find that to be odd.  All but one state with snow?  Someone mentioned that it happened in 09, but does anyone know whether it has occurred before that time?

wow snow! I haven"t seen snow yet it has been cold here in Virginia tho. I want a cup of hot chocolate.

I lived 16 years in Alaska around the Matanuska Valley and Eagle River.

We had our share down here in the south.  Usually if we're told to expect 6 inches or so, we get and inch or less, but this time, whoa, it kept coming. I was amazed. I was up at 3 a.m., and that's when it finally stopped. Got about 8".

Indeed we did! We go 6"-7" here in Atlanta and there is still ice and snow on ground and even on some of the roads! That is just unheard of here !
