Well.... I like my dog because she lets me know when anything is even remotely close to the house. I like my cat because she is the sweetiest little girl. I like my bird because when the dog is asleep and the bird sees something out the window she wakes the dog up... LOL My husband has two large fish tanks that he doesn't have time for and are smelly! LOL I love all pets! If I had space I would have so many dogs and cats!

I've always loved cats and my daughter has taken after me. She see's a cat and gets excited.

I've only ever had cats, so I'm slightly leaning towards them. Though, I do love dogs and want to own one one day. But, I'm a tad scared of big dogs :/

I have both at my house.  My cat is about 14 and this will be our last inside cat.

dogs are the best creatures alive, i would rather kill a human than kill a dog. even if mercy killing. I love my cat but i will be devastated when my dog passes.

its funny because a week ago i would have said i am a dog person, having had a dog as a child and as a teenager, but have not had one in about 5 years because of our current house does not allow them. then last week his brother had to come stay with us and he brough his little chihuahua with him. the first day wasnt so bad, the dog was small and quiet and slep most of the day, and my kids loved it. but the next day, man, it was all over the place, jumping and wanting to be all over me. luckily it never barked and it liked playing with the kids but after that i decided no pets ever again. luckily my brother in law was able to get someone to take care of the dog for him so the dog is out of my house
