I honestly don't see what people see in that movie. I think it is stupid. But to each their own. I'm sure there are movies I like that other people think are stupid. I like all the scrooge type movies. I can't wait to watch them all every year.

I haven't seen the movie but from what other people said it sounded kinda silly.  Like something I might possibly watch with my nieces.  Whether I would actually watch it on my own or not I don't know.  I would have to look into it more.  I had honestly never even heard of it until this post.  Lol

I think it's kind of a generational thing with that movie.  A lot of the younger people call it silly or stupid.  Those like myself can remember some of what the 40's and 50's history was about.  Not that I was living that history, but the talk, and some of the same episodes of kids and their imaginations strike a cord in those of us who remember Christmas's of long ago.  It also has a moral of family unity no matter what, and of dreams of something you want so bad, can actually be yours during that magical time.  That Christmas is really for the hopes and dreams of everyone, no matter how young or old they are.

its such a classic flim and i hope some director doesnt try to muck it up by doing some type of  remake , cause i feel it coming , the bunny suit is the prime example of horrid girfts lol

Easily one of the best movies ever. the way it is portraid from the kids perspective, it is hilarious. I think most of us can relate to some aspect of the movie. I love the scene where they have to eat chinese for dinner, and the duck has its head...
