Saving for a big cross country trip here.
A big help is putting away savings from coupons ... pretending that we are paying full price and stashing the savings.
It's a psych thing, but it's working well so far with what is put away.

What a great way to put some extra away I will have to let my daughter know that one they use coupons all the time
I just save all my change and just maybe I can get away to someplace warm in the winter I always feel so snow bound here in Ma  So visiting my sisters one is in Florida and the other is in CA but they also go To Hawaii I will have to wait and see where I will be able to go depending on money.

Im saving money to get married. I have a save to win CD from my credit union. For every $25 I have a chance to win prizes (an amount of money up 100,000)
