anyone know anything about adults and chicken poxs

i heard its more dangerous when you get them as an adult if this is true i am in need of advice on what to look out for ty

Having experience in this ...I can help ya..Yes Chicken pox in adults are worse..If you have had even a virus of chicken pox young you get what they call Shingles which is extremely painful..you get a rash on back or somewhere else that aches and it spreads and with out treatment could be chronic..As for adult chicken pox you get more itchy bumps and the fever is a little more high..I unfortunately had chicken pox as a kid and as a adult I got shingles which SUCKED..I got treatment but it took over a month to clear up and that spot on my back where shingles virus was still hurts from time to time..If you think you may have chicken pox go see a doctor immediately..Hope this helps hun good luck!!
