Does online support help sexual abuse survivors?
« on: December 06, 2010, 11:57:51 am »
I would have to say that i have turned to the internet for support and just kept running into catches to become a member and all. The next thing you know i get a message beware sexual predator alert, meaning a pervert was leaving obscene messages. Okay i was all freaked out and never tried again! So what I'm getting at is i would be interested in becoming a part off a survivors website if there was actually support. If anyone knows any helpful info i would sure appreciate it thanks all!

I think online support can be really helpful for all kinds of private mental issues.  Good communities are selective about who they let in, but unfortunately there are people who sneak in just to harass others.
