For my money Cracker Barrell is the best value and consistantly good food. The breakfast is great all day long.

Chilli's is my favorite but any place that has fresh seafood is great also!

It depends on the kind of food we want at the time. If we want to splurge on Italian, we love Macaroni Grill. For a special occasion American cuisine meal we go to Texas Roadhouse. Their prime rib is the best. But most often we go to a small  mom and pop cafe in our small town. The food is wonderful and affordable. It's called Mom's Cafe and it's in Justin, Texas if your ever in the area.

It really depends on the mood and what I am hungry for.  But a few of the places I like are Cheddars, Olive Garden, Golden Corral, Panchos, Krispy Kreme, and for a great fast food burger Whataburger.

our new favorite place around here is LongHorn Steakhouse     we went there last night.  we only go out (hubby and myself) about once a month, but occassionally we will also go out as a family - mostly more for breakfast or comfort foods type of things.
we typically prefer to cook at home
