New Years Eve
« on: November 13, 2010, 11:55:36 pm »
So its that time again and I was just wondering how people would be celebrating their New Years Eve this year.  Anyone go to Time Suare to watch the ball drop?  Thats something I've never done.  And I've been a New Yorker all my life. ???

I'm probably gonna just watch tv and then go outside to watch the fire works all around.

There comes a point where going out to celebrate becomes less than enjoyable.  We tend to stay home and enjoy the local fireworks celebration, if we're awake :)

I agree.  New Years Eve has never been a day that I've celebrated publicly.  The most exciting its gotten is havimg family come over to spend it with us.  We're normally watching the final shows on tv, we do the countdown wth them and we pop open a bottle of bubbly.  Everyone gets hugs and kissed and within an hour or so we've all gone down for bed.  Happy New Years Eve in advance.

We will be getting together with friends for a potluck and a night of dice and cards. A little bubbly at midnight, some wine and/or beer throughout the night.

It is my birthday and every year we celebrate it with family.  Dinner, cards, and then toasting in the new year.  By 12:30 everybody is gone.

I plan to be in church on my knees praying as the new year comes in; giving God thanks for another year.

I'll either be playing in a band or sleeping. I'm not a partying person.

I never really have a plan for New Years Eve. I'm not a big party-er so I usually don't enjoy myself at New Years Eve parties....I prefer staying at home with family and maybe a few friends and watching the festivities on TV.
