I am about to graduate from college with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Any advice for success?
And do yal think that a college degree is really worth all the money and time put into it?
What are the most successful degrees in your opinion? Or does it depend on where you live?

Ready.... Go!

lol @ no one replying.

Medical degrees are high in demand right now. With your degree you can try to get in a well known bank or a school. I am going for business I'm excited because I just got a new job where I can use my degree.

I'm planning on getting my nursing degree. But I have to be honest I'm having second thoughts. I am already an LPN, and am feeling burnt. On the positive side I will have more options with a degree. At any rate happy job hunting with your degree.

My advice, give it everything you've got.  Go in with your head up high and with the feeling of you can accomplish anything.  Once you land a job, and you will with your accounting degree, get/find a great mentor.  That person will show you the ropes that will help you succeed.  Take the toulgh jobs, not the easy ones, that will really impress your bosses.  After a year or two, or even before you start work, get your CPA.  That certification will get you the big bucks and leverage to get in with the big boys.

Your college degree is really worth every cent you spent.  It really isn't so much about the degree as it is that you now have shown that you can stick with something that most people never accomplish.

Your degree is just fine.  Don't go back and pick up another one at this time.  Go to work.  Pick up your CPA and then if you are not happy, try something different.

Hope that helps.
