i don't buy into their rewards program-- high interest rates -- you are certainly paying for your reward!

American Express always had good ones. I liked the way you could use your rewards points to pay for certain purchases on your bill, like gas

My wife and I both use a Mastercard, where we receive World Points for each purchase. These cards are periodically reviewed by the company and upgraded cards are offered to regular customers in good standing for a year or more. We now have an upgraded card with a lower interest rate on the outstanding balance. However, if you pay in full each month, there is no interest charge and no annual fee. I won't mention the company which sponsors the card, but you can search online for the one that offers World Points. We have cashed in our points a couple of times already and are very pleased with our bonuses. Hope this information points you in the right direction.  Good luck!

Note: World Points has an option for receiving cash back as well as a myriad of other rewards such as DVD players, airlines tickets, etc.

That depends on what you're gonna use it for.  Some are better for cash back.   If you travel a lot you might like one with travel rewards or airline miles etc.  I use bankrate.com when I want to find out good rates on credit cards and interest rates for bank accounts.

I use my Target one when I shop at Target.  You get 5% off on your total purchase each time you go.  But, you have to pay your account off in full each month as the interest rate is high.

I use Capital One for just about everything I buy - I get 1-2% cash back on every purchase, and pay it off immediately (so I'm not paying to earn the cash back) when I use it.  I know there are better offers out there, but back when I had no credit they gave me a credit card when no one else would, so I feel a bit of loyalty because of that.

The only credit cards I have are ones that I wasn't offered, but applied for on my own.  They don't send you the best deals; those you need to search for and apply for on your own from what I've seen.

I don't have a credit card because of medical bills i have had. my best option is my PayPal card that gives me money back when i spend on it not to mention i get a good interest rate for leaving money in my account. not to mention no credit check.
