no , cause i feel marriage is a covenant between you , your partener, and god . that to me is so much more than a piece of paper issued by the government.

I do, but, unfortunately for me, my spouse doesn't. Oh well, I would never cheat on her without her knowledge and consent. Probably not going to happen in my lifetime. I love her!

It CAN work for some people.  But it takes enormous trust, patience, lack of envy...it's hard.  My parents are in an open relationship, and they couldn't be happier.  But it's tough.  It's not for me by any means. I am much too possesive and need to be treated like his one and only princess.

No, No I do not believe in open relationships.  Why bother if you are going to be sleeping with everyone else.  That's not a relationship, that's a booty call whenever the other person feels like being bothered with you.

If that's what a couple wants to do, ok. It's their business. However, these people SHOULDN'T have children because then the burden of helping these poor kids cope with their parents' selfish lifestyle choice falls on relatives, friends, teachers, counselors, and therapists.

I agree. Just stay single and "do" whoever whenever. why be in a relationship?... I wouldn't be happy to know that my man is enjoying intimacy with someone else. Wouldn't work for me at all.

Its not for me, but I know that some feel that its ok. I say to each's own, meaning whatever floats your boat, but like I said its just not the way I roll. I think if you find someone you can truly connect with why risk losing a good thing, just to be free to date other people why lose what you have now for just a possibility of somthing with someone else. whats your view point? :peace: :)
deffinantly not! thats not a relationship

Its not a relationship if its an open relationship. Its called "I can screw anyone i want and so can you, but we'll sleep in the same bed tonight" Its ridiculous.

I say NO!!!!! Why would two people get together in the first place and then request an open relationship. That doesn't make sense to me at all. Either you're together with the person or you're not. There can't be no in between. At least for me anyway.
