potty training... (help!!!)

someone told me to not allow them to wear diapers/pull ups and let them make accidents and realize how that is not very fun for anyone.

I had been trying to potty train my son since he was 18 months --- mainly because he showed a LOT of interest in it, but it took until 1 week before his 3rd birthday for him to really "GET" it and then HE decided no more pull-ups were required.  He was SO proud of himself

I have the same issues. I have twin daughters 3 years old they refuse to go potty.
I have tried everything videos, books, different training diapers, I have purchased 3 fun and interesting potties, awards for potty use, and nothing works.
They look at me and say " it's okay mommy I like my diapers I don't have to use a potty"
It's funny though the one year old took her pamper off and went potty the other day at least I have one of them doing it lol.

The other one will pick it up eventually if the other one does, either that or when they get to school and all the other kids are doing it...lol peer pressure working for you!

At 24 months, my son started telling me he wanted to use the potty.  So after 6 months of working with him every day, he was completely potty trained.  I used cloth training pants which I was washing 3 or 4 everyday.  It was a long 6 months.  I thought he was never going to get it but he did.
