I would keep the money no matter what. Spend it a little bit of it at a time not to bring attention to the IRS, or anybody else, this economy today and any day will make me keep the money. Because you will never know what will happen tomorrow. :peace:

I think that I would do the right thing and find the owner. But depending on the amount of money in question....I can be honest and say I would be tortuously tempted to keep it. Of course I would probably feel guilty forever, so hopefully, if that situation ever happened for real, I would do the right thing.

I would be investing with it, paying off the house and investing in banks/CD's/Stocks/Business.  I would love to own a franchise...

I would keep it because I doubt the real person will come forward and it would be tough to determine who's it was unless it was a very specific amount.
I would only give it back if the person knew the exact amount. For example I say over 100 found and I have 231 and a person says it was 231 I would give it back

Try to get it back to it's rightful owner.  Money with no ID?  I'd keep it and put an ad in the paper to see if anyone can identify how much, if not.......mine!

I went to an ATM one time to draw some money out at the grocery store.  Went shopping and was checking out when I noticed.....NO MONEY! :crybaby2:  I had left the money in the ATM slot.  I went to the courtesy counter to see if anyone had turned it in.  I had no hope of it being there, but someone had found it in the ATM and turned it in!  Good thing to, it was the last in my checking account. :)
