poker?

So, I don't play poker at all, but do watch it occasionally-it can be interesting...
What I'm amazed at though is how much money people earn for winning....do other people think it's
too much as well?? I mean, I don't think it's easy, but at the same time, it seems like a bit too much...

Poker is really cool when it comes down to reading the peoples expressions (ie 'poker face'). We briefly studied it in my sociology class. A lot of players don't actually see it as a form of gambling but actually more of an emotional stand-off. But hey, if the money's there and people are willing to bet it, good luck to 'em!

I dont think its too much, you Risk gain analysis if you dont risk much you dont gain much.  Not to mention the stress of playing makes me think the money is well placed.  I play on line with fake money and it can get nail biting.  I would never play for real money cause I cant afford to do so and lose.  Now I if I won like the big lotto then I might try it once.

I do not think that it is too much as the players that you see have had to battle their way to the top and that is the part that we never see.  We had a local guy that won 6 million dollars and it was exciting to see him on TV.
