eligible post

some of my posts count towards my 30 posts a month and some don't... what determines if a post is an eligible post or not? when i check the counter the eligible posts show up immediately... so how is it determined?

Hello flirrtychic05 ,  post that are counted as eligible would be ones the offer help,make people laugh or carry on a conversation.

I mean, it could be considered carrying a conversation, but it doesn't really solve anyone's problems.

Just be truly genuine with your posts.  Place interest and substance.  If you fill it is an eligible post then it probably is.  If you second guess yourself then...

yes a post seeking help would be considered eligible posts that will not be eligible would be ones missing content or that make no sense. It solves your problem

If you are starting a thread, make sure it is meaningful, either asking a question, offering a suggestion, starting a conversation, etc. Also it is a good idea to do a search and see if the question has already been asked and answered. And make sure it is posted in the right category. When responding to posts, be sure you know what you are talking about. Don't post irrelevant comments just to answer something. The answers can be short if they answer the question, for example What is your favorite movie could be answered in a couple of words. For these kind of questions, though, I usually try to amplify the answer, like explaining why such and such a movie is my favorite. Be sure the spelling and grammar are legible so we know what you are talking about.
