Clearing Cookies from a Mac Computer
« on: June 15, 2010, 01:10:09 pm »
To all my MacHeads out there (your smart, and you know it using a Mac) ;)

I've read some of the threads about clearing cookies, but they all seem to be for a windows based PC using Window based applications.  Now if someone has covered this already......my apologies.  I happen to own a Mac Desktop and had a horrible time learning how to clear the cookies from my computer.  Okay, here goes:

Go to Safari.
Under Safari's drop down menu, go to Preferences.
On top of page there is a Security icon (padlock), click on it.*
This will have an option to show you cookies, click on it.
a page will open that will have a list of accumulated cookies (It will look like lines of gibberish).
At the bottom will be a remove button. Click on this, and it should remove all your cookies.

Sometimes, on different Mac systems, it will give you the option to clear all the cookies or just some of them (line by line).  I just clear all of them out every hour or so.

*On this page of Preferences there is an option to accept ALL cookies.  This is especially important before you start filling out offers and doing anything on Fusion Cash.

Hope this helps somebody out there.  It took me awhile to find this answer.
