Dark shadows 1990 revival series did you watch it?

I liked that show a lot I hated when it got canceled. I'm talking about the 90s version not that old soap from the 60s It stared Ben Cross, and joanna Goings. I was a teen when I first started watching the revival series, and it was really quite entertaining if your a vampire series and film, fan like me.

Anyway I would buy it on DVD accept the DVD has no audio comentery or special features at least thats what I heard, and thats disappointing because I would love to hear some deeper insight into that version of the series along with being able to view some behind the scenes footage so disappointed that the DVDs dosent have anything more then just the basics, I also heard that there doing a remake of the series yet agin, its going to be a big screen version but I'm not certain if this is just rumor or fact.

Well tell me did you watch the revival of the series during the 90s and did you enjoy the series as I did and still do?

OK, I am so old, I watched the 60's one.  I am sure now it would seem really cheesy, but when I was a little kid it seemed really scary.  Barnabus was Johnathon somebody and I think Kate Jackson was Daphne.  Wow!  That was a long time ago.  Thanks for the memory.

My mother and I were talking about the original Dark Shadows the other week.  I wasn't around in the 60's but it used to come on TV when I was small so that is the one I remember.  I don't remember a 90's version.

The sixties version was so new and different in its time (sort of like the old Star Trek) we used to race home from school to someone's house to watch it.  I was surprised when it was revived but it wasn't the same.  The old one was much creepier.

My bf loved Dark Shadows the 60s version.  I did not even know there was a new version out.  Thanks for letting us know and I will have to tell him and look for it online.

WHAT! haha, well if you like vampire shows and story's then you probably want to check the mini series out, but not the 60s version the 90s version its the best of the series in my opinion, and the vamp was much cuter then in the old one lol, you can catch the series on the chiller channel if you have cable, or buy it on DVD also watch it free online on hulu.com though there's some cheesy moments in the series but its still fun to watch if your a fan of vampires.
