What was your Favorite Board game as a child?

I think when I was a kid the only board game was Monopoly.  Of course, my grandparents had a real board game that was Chineese Checkers on on side and Carems (?sp) on the other side.  I don't remember a lot about it but it sure did hurt my fingers.

I always liked monopoly. I also enjoyed checkers and chinese checkers.

Clue was always one of my favorites.  Now I play Life and Sorry with my kids.  Actually, we take turns choosing which game because we have tons.

I don't how many of heard of this game. It is snake and ladder the most beautiful game played me. It was always fun to play this game.

It does not take too much of your time also. It is best entertainment for adults and child.

The best to be played in winter ofcourse.

I remember the first game I got was operation, and I was so excited about it, but being 4 at the time,  I had no idea how to play it right, same goes for mousetrap. All time favorite would have to be HeroQuest, a dungeons and dragons type of game.

As I child I played checkers and Monopoly almost every weekend night. They were my favorite games. I also liked to play operation and card games as well. Children today don't know what they are missing. They are more inclined to play computer games rather than a good old board game. I am so glad I grew up in an era where simple games kept kids happy and engaged.
