depending on the item i get the store brand but certain things i get the name brand
I'm Like you...I could go either way. Sometimes the name brand is better. ( I don't know if you all know this, but some store buy the leftover from some of these name brand companies and just slap their name of some of the products. At least that what i told.)

I buy both but it really depends on the product I'm buying. Some store brand foods taste good and some don't taste good at all.

Whatever is on sale doesn't matter what brand it is.

I think they are both the same. When it comes to edible items, I compare the ingredients. They are almost exactly similar. So I would select store brand which can help you save a few cents.

storebrand if it is cheaper sometimes namebrand is cheaper so I will use it but most of the time  go with storebrand just as good as namebrand.

Honestly I prefer the namebrand when it comes to food items. I tried some storebrands but I don't think they are as good. I actually think some of the storebrand names are pretty good when it comes to some shampoo and the aspirin and some over the counter medicine.

I rarely buy store brands.  The quality has gotten better, but it is still not as good as name brands.  I buy name brands on sale, many times they cost no more than the store brands.  If you have coupons along with a sale, the name brands are often cheaper than the store brands.  Do not always assume that the store brands are cheaper, always keep your eyes open and use those coupons.

I power shop and buy in bulk when I can get things cheap, then I have plenty and never have to buy groceries and household items at full price.  I also do not have to worry about running out of things quickly.
