A Plane just Crashed in Austin Texas......
« on: February 18, 2010, 09:01:55 am »
Less than 5 min. away from my house, a 2 person Piper Cherokee 150 crashed into an office building, it demolished a lexus with 4 people in it, the plane is unrecognizable, and 2 people are unaccounted for.  This happened in the wake of 2 military helicopters from Camp Mabry that Decided to "dogfight" over our neighborhood. We have so many planes and military people flying low to the ground over our area, it worries me all of the time, hence the plane crash.....What do you think about airspace flight rules as they are today?  Should 2 passenger planes ect. be able to fly closely over civilian areas?  Should the military be able to practice their maneuvers over our neighborhoods???? It always seems like the pilots of those planes bite off more than they can chew........ and it only takes one mistake, professional or not..... :bs:

Right now as I speak, there are all kinds of helicopters and planes in the air in our area, fine time to do that!!!!!! I understand they need to report the news, but its dangerous...............especially if they are flying over the crash site in close proximity to eachother! :BangHead: :angry7:

Well apparently it was intentional. Eye witnesses say it flew at full power into the building. Also the plane was stolen.

Now confirmed the pilot posted a manifesto online stating his grievances with the IRS and the gov. He had enough. That's it! So sad...a sign of the times.

The fire was my in-laws subdivision, and my mother-in-law knew the couple, they were going through a divorce and he had tax problems. My mother-in-law did an interview on News 8!(If you see her, her name is Jan Richardson)  So sad that he decided to take out others including himself :crybaby2:
