....when you call a company, and you hear a recording telling you if you..... press 1, once you press 1, immediately another announcement to press #2, etc etc etc.... Why or who has that "brilliant" idea.... because at the end you talk with a live person after pressed 1, 2, 3, or 4 for this or for that... It takes a lot out of my nerves. I bet that lot of you agree with me. Right?

I love the ones that actually call you to sell you something or try to tell you your warrantee on your car needs renewal when you get the live agent on the phone and tell them you take the bus or carpool cause you don't have a car they get embarassed and try to hang up! I love caller id and the FTC.... I have all my phone #'s on the do not call registry!!!!!

Oh, this will not get better, but worse, this is a way for the rich to get richer, to make all the money, and now their are no jobs for anyone because the rich have computers doing them for them, oh and if you do get a live person, they have hired someone from another country. But we let them get away with all they do, why? Because we buy their products, we could crash the stock market in a day for any stock if everyone suddenly banned a product because of the way they do things. But then we would have to do this to alot of companies, and the whole country would be in a depression, oh well, don't have to worry about that happening, they are bleeding the poor dry, so it will happen anyway, and they will be sitting on their fancy hill, with their money, but that is okay, they can't take it with them, it is easier for a camel to fit through an eye of a needle, than it is for a rich man to get into heaven.

I am with you all on this one!  I really hate the ones that you can either speak OR touch a number....I have 6 kids, so it's NEVER
quite in my house so it says "Sorry, I did not understand your choice" and starts all over from them beginning!!!!   
I want to throw the phone out the window!  Hee hee

My problem with these automated systems is, I am from the south and there fore have a heavy southern accent, when I have to speak my answers, they NEVER understand my response. It gets so frustrating.

...yes, aghhhhhhh!@#$%^ Nothing against anyone from other countries, but my gosh.... to me it is so difficult to understand the people from India.... I have to keep telling them to repeat slowly... so I could understand, ending more time in the telephone because of that reason.

I'm fine with them, except when they hide certain end points within some random string of answers. For example, in order to talk to customer support for Comcast if your internet isn't working and restarting your router doesn't work, the path that leads to restarting the router just abruptly ends saying "Okay, we hope restarting your router works. Bye." So you have to call again and go through the whole process to find a living person to talk to. -_-

I hate it when you have the option to say it or type it and theres noise in the background and it keeps saying "i do not understand". I also hate it when they give you this huge list of options and your is the very last or not even listed. I hate that part the most when they dont have an operator so you have to figure it out by yourself so you end up purposefully sending yourself to the wrong department just to ask them.
