I am looking forward to getting a new car on Tuesday. My 20 year old car died in 2020. I was able to get a stop-gap car in November of 2020, but it had rust issues and I had to junk it in mid December after the underside rust broke through the frame and it was not safely repairable. Thankfully, my new job in October gave me a better income and allowed me to qualify for financing.
I went to a local dealership on December 30 to look at two cars that were listed available online. One I did not like once I got inside; the other (which was my first choice) was not on site at the time because it had been loaned out as a day loaner for someone else who was having work done on their car. The salesman told me he would have it back the next morning and I could come in to test drive it.
Next day he texted me to tell me that the car was back and asked me what time I would be in. I told him my wife had a noon appointment and said we would be in at 1:30. At 12:00 he sends me a text: "i have some bad news, somehow another salesman got the key to the escape and just sold it, i am very sorry, hopefully i may have another vehicle you maybe interested in."
I was pretty disappointed and a little bit pissed - because I was pretty sure I was going to buy the car assuming I liked the test drive... But I ended up finding another car from another dealer - newer model with more features that I wanted and still within my price range. So it is being delivered to my house on Tuesday.

Work money work invest more and work and do surveys. Then take a break eat my favorite foods haha
