No. Got on the "Get my payment" IRS site. I guess it's because my address changed. But it's also changed with the post office so I don't know why it's such a problem.

We got the first one and the second one. If they have another one I won't complain . It is nice to get help with stuff once in a while :peace:

If the word is underlined in red, it means don't spell it that way 'cuz it's wrong. Just like that word "'cuz" I just put there.

Look on the bright side.Members still knew what U meant even tho U spelled stimulus wrong just like i am lazy to spell "you".

Got both took for ever for them to ok the first,second was fast. I figured between my husband and self got 3600.00 thanks covid. Third should be soon. 1400.00 is fine.

Got two and anxiously awaiting a third. My son should be getting unemployment and they have said that there is an "adjudication" issue awaiting a decision. Nerve wracking and really brings us down to barely enough for food, bills, etc.

I need another stimulus check just to pay the taxes on the extra $600 payments I got while I was unemployed. In normal years, we've always gotten a refund. This year we have to pay $2200. I was expecting it, but it still sucks. :(

I think a lot of people are going to be surprised when they file their taxes this year. Seems most thought that was just free money. I don't get why you did not qualify for the stimulus though esp if you were drawing unemployment. Were you not able to claim when you filed your taxes? I had a place when I filed that asked if I got the stimulus checks.

Exactly! Someone (meaning the tax payers) always end up paying the bill. I cant understand why people dont see that.

I did get the last two stimulus checks. I meant it as a joke that I needed more money from the government to pay my taxes. Lol. But I was just saying to my husband that the extra $600 they were giving everyone should have been optional. But they just gave it to you untaxed, whether you needed it or not. I stashed it away, because I knew I'd end up paying the IRS at tax time. But yeah, I think a lot of people didn't realize that the extra $600 was different than the stimulus and is taxable.

the payment is not income and taxpayers will not owe tax on it. The payment will not reduce a taxpayer's refund or increase the amount they owe when they file their 2020 or 2021 tax return next year.
Unemployment IS taxable.
The 2 are NOT the same.My accountant said the stimulus must still be reported but it is NOT taxable as UE is.

I got my second one in the form of a debit card. Never seen them do that before. I nearly tossed it out thinking it was a junk mail scam.

Yes, the first one by check and then, the second one through direct deposit - even though I did nothing to change anything between the two.

I got one the first time. I hope I get one this time too. I live on SS and it would help with my bills. I worked till I was 76 years old and still don't draw enough to live on.

For those of you who answered this particular question as originally posed (that is, with the wrong spelling), did you intentionally misspell "stimulus" as "steimlus" or was it a joke?
Just wondering about the spelling abilities of FCers. I know y'all are smart; but really? :turkey: Just checkin'.

If you did not receive your first $1,200 and second one $600,
contact your local Social Security, they can track your check or direct deposit.
