If your cat vomits after eating it, you probably shouldn't allow her to eat it. I mean, would you keep eating something that makes you throw up?

Is lemon grass safe for cats to eat?  They love some other plants that rumor has it will kill them.  They usually like cat nip but it tends to make them crazy.  Mine are insane enough without making them more hyper. haha

Technically lemongrass is mildly toxic to cats (and dogs). For most cats that just nibble once in a while, it's fine. But a cat that eats a large amount or one that is particularly sensitive to it may have digestive upset, vomiting, fever, weakness, or worse depending on the amount. If your cat is seriously going to town on the lemongrass, you may want to get to the vet, because there may be something else going on like nutritional deficiencies or thyroid problems.

Lemongrass essential oil is definitely toxic to cats. Well, most essential oils are.
