Robert Englund is still alive. It was Wes Craven, the director of Nightmare on Elm Street, that died. I didn't even know he was sick. Scream was the first horror movie I sat through by myself and continues to be one of my favorites.

RIP master horror director.

I was wondering why this was posted but I just heard on NPR about his passing. Nightmare on elm street turned me into an insomniac for life! What a waste it seems like icons I've grownup with are dropping like flies. Still can't get over Leonard Nimoy & Robin Williams deaths! RIP WC!

That subject scared me at first, haha. I had to look it up to be sure but just going on the subject I couldn't believe that Wes AND Robert both died.

Hello! I'm very sad to hear Wes Craven is dead! At last death is part of life. Everyone will die some day. We just have to live our life the best we can. I'm into horror films. So I have enjoyed some of his movies. Now he is making some new movies in heaven. Hope his soul rest in peace!
