I was reading an article in the Biblical Archeological Review. The encyclopedia's name could have had the word "Oxford" in it. A bunch of people can get together, claim some authority and change names here and there.

I think the same thing about branding. Some people only see the name. that is what is great about a survey with the same products. The contestants are asked to compare. They are really the same product. But they still found things different with the products. Amazing! BMaston12

I've seen a video of a test done with water from a garden hose. It was poured into bottles, given phoney names, and served to people in a restaurant. It was the same water but people found differences in the taste.
I've seen another test done with fast food, and similar results. The people didn't like it when they knew it was fast food, but thought it was delicious when it was given to them again and told it came from a fancy restaurant.
Both of these were from Penn and Teller's show.
