Does anyone have any remedy's for a sore throat?
I usually take a spoon full of honey with a hint of lemon juice clears it right up!
Also sherbert is good for sore throats
some other conforts when you have a sore throat are cambells soup a 7up
and a nice hot shower with lots of steam!
Don't forget the halls from time to time they really do work!
That usually works for me ^_^
What works for you? Any other remedy's out there that i don't know about?

Hot tea with honey and lemon works for me.

I'm going to try honey with lemon juice! I'm sick right now. :(

oil of oregano, health food store knocks it out fast

for a sore throat I takecough drops or see my doctor if it gets really bad

I usually put a slice of lime on my tongue. It always work.

honey, lemon and liquor...(corn liquor i think or caro) and vapor rub, right on the spot!!! Yessir it is a miracle!!!

Yes, a remedy that works very well is gargling with hydrogen peroxide. I've also used tea with honey and lemon and something you can always count on, ice cream for the temporary numbness!

Echinacea cough drops will help it heal. I also like green chili stew for colds and sore throats that aren't raw. In a pinch you can fix chicken soup and add a can of green chili from your store's Mexican isle. :thumbsup:

i take throte drops that u can slowly desove in ur mouth & sooths ur throt

I usually just gargle with warm salt water. But if it really hurts I like tomato soup with a lot of saltines and hot tea.

I typically do the hot tea with honey trick. Sometimes if it's bad, I'll suck down straight honey. If really, really bad, I'll try gargling very strong salt water.

I have always heard that a good remedy for a sore throat is the gargle with warm salt water several times a day.

Vitamin C mega dose. I take honey and lemon for my throat. It can be in tea or all by itself warmed up.
Gargling with warm salt water is soothing and good for a sore throat. So is ginger.
Take some type of pain reliever and a cough drop before going to bed. Sleep slightly inclined if you're having trouble breathing.
Plenty of rest and fluids. Keep your humidifier going. Don't stress. Neti pots are good for stuffy noses and sore throats. Try to keep breathing through your nose, is possible. Your nose is a natural filter.
Drink lots of water and give it about a week. You don't really need over the counter drugs for colds and sore throats.
P.S. Don't yell at anyone while your throat is sore. Makes it worse! That goes for sports, etc.

I drank hot kalamansi juice with honey.
Kalamansi is like lemon but more sour and they're smaller.
You can find them in filipino stores, or some filipino neighbors might have them.
I drank it everyday for three days and now I'm just getting rid of the phlem.

Cepacol works very well. If you have strep, your doctor may need to prescribe an antibiotic. Strep throat is terrible. I hope you feel better.

The honey with lemon juice sounds good. That wouldn't be a bad idea every so often even if we aren't sick just because it is good for you. By the same thinking I would stay away from the sherbert.

technically that's why i made this post lol... i love information and diffrent ways to do things sometimes it's the same thing and sometimes you get some techniques you have never thought about before.. I tell you these forums are a blessing in desquise

Yeah... unfortunately my computer was at the computer-doctor getting a new hard drive and I've been MI from FusionCash for a while.
I love getting other people's opinions and remedies too though!

I usually use lozenges, a cold remedy of Tea with money and vaporizer. That is what my Mom used when we were children. Although I don't use it because it taste gross was Castor oil.
