So who do you think August is? 

Why do you think he is in Storybrooke? 

Why do you think he felt some pain when he went under/near the toll/troll bridge?

Well, the fact that Regina doesn't seem to know who he is makes me really curious.  Could just be she's play the part but still.  I first thought he was the one who wrote the book that Henry has but I'm not sure how he would know what has happened.

No clue about his pain.  I'd assume, if he is a fairytale character, that maybe something happened to him there but I can't think of what it would be.

My thoughts are that he is either Pinocchio and somehow made it into the vessel that Gepetto crafted that sent baby Emma to safety or....perhaps he is Rumpelstiltskin's son.  What is interesting is that he came from out of town and is not from Storybrooke.

It is hard to tell but i have been wondering the same thing, all we know for certain is that he is not from Stoneybrook and has somehow change the environment on the town.
