Take some cough drops like Halls and drink lots of water. Sometimes your membranes are just dry.

I've had a sore throat on & off from last Oct thru most of February along with alot of other symptoms. I thought I was just catching alot of colds (and then having relapses). I was taking alot of Vitamin C, using hand sanitizer all the time, and nothing seemed to be helping. It wasn't until I realized that I wasn't sure if I had a cold or the flu since I had symptoms of both according to websites. Doctor said it was a sinus infection and everything has improved so much by staying hydrated, getting enough sleep, antibiotics, a vaporizer and I was also using alot of ginger (ginger tea, ginger ale, ginger root) for the on-off nausea. No more sore throats since...

I had a sore throat two weeks ago. I gargled every day with Listerine and use the spray for sore throat.

Mine never turned into a full sore throat but I did have a scratchy throat for about a week. I talked like a frog for the first couple of hours each morning. Hot tea, Listerine and doubled up on vitamin C. Watch out for strep throat if it gets worse or stays long. :)

Didn't have the sore throat part but had everything else last week.
Coughing, congestion, fever, chills and joint pain.
So glad that is over.
