I used to make New Years resolutions but I don't anymore because I wasn't keeping them and it bothered me. I don't like making myself feel bad because for whatever reason I didn't cut it. I'd rather work with myself and help myself succeed. It just works better for me. :) :) :)

No not so much. I never keep them so why bother. It usually ends in dissappointement!

Not really i mean maybe save more money ? relax more ? see family more ? I dont think i am doing the weight loss one lol i gave up on that

Nope! Not a single one. I never really have honestly. Never saw the purpose. If I'm going to decide to do something, it's not going to be at the end/beginning of the year. It will be when it's the best time for it, things don't always work out as you plan after all.

The only resolution I made was to not make a resolution I wouldn't keep. Therefore, I'm resolving not to make a resolution and I've accomplished my mission. Happy New Year!

Have you ever wondered why people make New Years Resolutions when they never intend to stick with them. I think its ridiculous to make them. If you are going to do something, do it and if you don't fully stick with it, pick yourself up and start again.

my goal, this year, is to get more organized and get rid of stuff i no longer use.

NO I don't make any resolutions. The concept really doesn't make sense to me. If I have a goal then I set that goal, but to make new years resolutions at a specific time only forces the issue of making goals and therefore they don't really seem to work out.

I didn't. I think if you really cared about your life you wouldn't wait for the new year to roll around before you started to make changes.

No I dont have a New Years resolution. Im am focused on being a better me and to give more.

No, however, I plan to eat healthier and MAYBE do more exercises... but no resolutions for me.

My new years resolution was not to make a new years resolution. Thats because I never keep them anyways! ???

So many people make resolutions and most don't stick to them because they are not specific enough. For example, someone that wants to lose weight in the new year is a very general topic. I think people would do better with resolutions if they set short-term, specific goals. For example, this week I'm going to exercise on Mon., Wed., and Fri. Or you could just take it day by day: today I'm going to exercise for 30 min. In my opinion, those work better than general resolutions. Me personally, I don't make New Year's resolutions.

I personally don't find a point in making a New Year's resolution. Why wait a whole year to start something new or make a change? If you want to better yourself, you should begin the minute you realize that something needs to change.

I totally agree. That's like other days that are celebrated like Mother's Day. Why wait until the actual day when you should appreciate her throughout the year.

My new years resolution is to spend less money. I find that I spend way too much money on food, when I could just eat at home. Also less money on alcohol!

I didn't. Do you really have to make one? If there is something that you want to do you can and should do it whenever you decide to set your mind to it. If anyone has one then good luck and small steps are important remember!
