I am tired of people (and companies) who promise things and don't deliver.

I am really tired of my cable company, they promise me all these sporting events to be broadcast, they show the pregame but when the game is supposed to start they switch to some other program. Upsets me yes it does

I work for a 911 center & some of these callers tonight make me want to run outside & scream ... I will do that here

Aren't there better places to vent than forums? I feel better about venting when I know someone is listening, like a close friend.

First off welcome :wave:...I applaud you, thats 1 job I dont think I could EVER do....what are some of the calls that make you feel that way?

Thanksgiving, seeing family blah blah. I need money. I hate having these days off from work. I don't get paid unless I work. No paid holidays for me. >:(

Hi there, yes u r right, it would've been better if I had vented to a close friend but it was @ 3ish in the morn when I was @ work & I had the forum open .. seemed like the right moment!!

TY :) Pls don't get me wrong, I do LOVE my job .. it's just sad to see how some ppl r inconsiderate twds themselves & others, I'm hopeful they will change for the better one day :) Take care!!

Hi MA, not at all...my cousin tried doing the 911 operator job and she couldnt handle it after only a month. I know the public is very hard to deal with at times...you take care too :wave:
