what age does babies start walking and or standing on there own
-
My son first pulled himself up around 10 months. He is starting to cruise around on the furniture and stand alone so i'm thinking he's going to take off any day. He just turned a year about 2 weeks ago. Each baby is different. I would just wait to see what everyone says.

I put each of my children into a walker at about 7--8 months. This helps them build their muscles and learn to walk at an earlier age.
If you don't have one , you might want to consider one.

IT VARIES BETWEEN BABIES BECAUSE SOME DOES SO QUICKLY SOME JUST TAKES THERE TIME.

Ha! Made me remember how long it took my sister to walk! She was sooooo fat, she was like almost two before she was strong enough to BE ABLE to walk!! Funny though, she turned out to be a freakin' stringbean, while I struggle with my fat *ss all the time!

Each develop differently. I was walking before I was 9 months old. My daughter started walking at 10 months old. I had her in a walker before her feet could touch the floor.

I think every child develop differently. My oldest now 15 was 7 months when he started pulling himself up and started walking at 8 months. My middle child now 12 started pulling herself up at 7 months also and walking by 8 months and my baby who is 8 months now started pulling himself up at 5 months and started walking aroung his crib. He now explores the whole house.

Every baby is different, raised different, influenced by their parents and peers differently, and each baby precieves the importance of learning how to walk differently during their toodlerhood. All and all- it's a Crap-shoot! Can't really predict that.

All babies are different I starting walking at eight months so who's to really say when they will progress :)

It all depends on the child. My daughter was walking at 11 mos but we have a friend whose son is 18 mos and still crawls. He's considered normal, just hasn't had the urge to walk yet.

When they 'feel the need for speed'..... ;D
-
depends on the baby..my son was 12 months, but my daughter was 8 1/2 months.

Mine started standing and walking at 10 months.

It all depends on your baby to be honest. I'm a preschool teacher whop works with children from the ages of 6weks til they turn 2 and every child is different. My son walked at 12 months and 29 days! But he started pulling up at 8 months and cruising at 8 1/2 and no matter how much I worked with him he would not walk until he was ready!

I agree, it depends on the baby, some start at a range of 8mths to 14mths,
this could be more or less it rests upon the child.
-
that varies by the baby, My grandson is 10 months old this month and is standing on his own now. not real stable, but standing

Most babies should be walking at around ten months but some take longer and some are really fast learners, it just depends on the baby. A walker would be really good to start using around 6 months I'd say.
