Would you be up for working 4 days at 10 hours or keep the traditional 5 days at 8 hours?
-
I prefer 4 days of 10 hours work, It would be great to have 3 days off to do whatever you wanna do and have enough time to spend with the family

I had this schedule for a few years. I really liked it, you do get a bit more time to do things. I liked saving the hour and a half round trip commute. It's one less day to have to drive to work!

i used to work 4 days 10 hours. i like this scedule...get more time to do other things

I wouldn't mind going back to the latter, but the first option 4 days 10 hours is no problem with me. I'm flexible.

I hate 9-5 I will never go back to working a 9-5 job again. To me that is torture. When I did work a 9-5 job we got to change schedules every couple of months and at one time I worked 4 10 hour days and I liked that schedule better. I liked having three days off in a row. Sometimes my schedule would be one day off usually in the middle of the week then two days off in a row. That was fine too because I liked that I could get things done in the middle of the week that sometimes would be closed by the time I got off work.

When I was still working I liked 4 10 hour days. Leaves more time to do other things.

I would take the 4 days, and get a 3 day vacation, rest all that time is so much better, I have worked 13 hr day with only a one day, it is not good
-
i used to work 4 10 hour days -- I liked it but now with the child, I would have daycare issues if I worked longer than I do now -- they aren't open that long.
-
I would rather work 3 days 12 hours of work
-
I worked a 4 day work week and hated it. Partly because of my schedule though - 11am to 10pm Sun, Mon, Thurs, Fri. If it had been 7-6 or 8-7 Mon-Thurs I may have enjoyed it...or not have been a call center job.
-
Four day weekdays get more done, imo. You're there and you can get your stuff done in one sitting instead of having to put something on hold and waiting until the next day to do it.
-
3 day weekend = better. You stay later thus you don't have to deal with traffic too.

4 10s are great. Would much rather prefer to have that schedule.
-
have done the 4 on, 3 off scenario...10pm-8am, enjoyed it immensely. I suppose if I worked that schedule on a first or second shift job, I would also prefer it, so I could handle weekday business without having to take time off.

I think also one of the perks would be having a three day weekend....more time for travel...
