Yes, I think that when you have about 50 posts, you get "promoted" to Jr. Member and then to Full Member by 100 posts, I think. I am not very sure about the posts needed for each one, but I am a Sr. member, right now.

Just as the person above me said, with more posts your membergroup will change. Everyone starts out as a newbie and works their way up to a Junior member, Sr member, etc depending on how many posts you have in the forum. I can't tell you how many posts it will take before you upgrade to a higher position because the admins can change that. I believe by default (unless the admins changed it) that your position will definitely go up to Junior member once you hit 50 posts. I run a smf forum just like this one so I'm pretty familiar with how these forums work.  :cat:

So far, it looks like this is how this forums works.

Newbie - 1-49 Posts
Jr Member - 50-99 Posts
Full Member - 100-249 Posts
Sr Member - 250-499
Hero - 500 Posts ( I haven't seen anyone's membergroup go any higher than this)

Hope this helped you understand a bit easier.  ;)

The more you post the higher up you get.

@Ayulyn

Yes, that helped me a lot by letting me know how much posts I need to have to be on each different level.
