Netflix question
« on: November 08, 2007, 09:17:44 pm »
I just did the offer and am getting a free trail for 14 days. My question is, it says on the offer that you have to be a paying customer to get the 20 dollar offer. Does that mean I won't get credited until the 14 trail offer expires???

Yep, it is a free trial offer, but you won't see your credit until you have paid for the first month of service.  :)

Because for most offers that are $7.00 or more you can request manual credit after 7 days if it doesn't credit on its own.  But if the offer specifically states in its TOS that you need to be a paying customer before being credited then the 7 days becomes null and void and you need to wait out the trial period and actually pay for one month of service.  Considering they are giving you $20 to try Netflix, its not unreasonalbe for them to want you to become a paying member.  There are many plans to choose from on Netflix, and besides that, you are only supposed to complete offers that you are interested in.

Very true.  If you are looking to make the big bucks (lol) then you will be spending some money.  :)  Otherwise, if you don't want to spend any money at all, do the No Credit Card Needed offers.  You don't get paid as much, but you don't spend anything either!!

Basically, I didn't read the TOS as carefully as I thought I had.  Money was put on hold in my account before I was expecting and caused a little bit of havoc.  lol  Also, didn't realize that the trial time began upon SIGN UP not when I received the item and then was charged the full amount.  Thiings like that-  I just prefer being safe than sorry - as you said before - we are here to MAKE money.

Regarding the signature banner - go to Profile at the top of this page - click on Forum Profile Info on the left side of the page - scroll down to Signature - pick a color and click on Replace Signature with FC Sig Banner - click on Change Profile at the bottom right of page - and you're done!!!!

Regarding cashout and payment - you can cashout anytime during the month, but it is better to wait until the last day by 11:59 PST.  No matter when you decide during the month to cashout - you won't be paid until on or about the 20th of the following month (ex. cashout by 11/30 = payment approx. 12/20).  (so, better to wait till last day so you can accumulate as many credits as possible )
